Sam Robb was a 2005 Centennial HS graduate who sadly lost his fight with cancer in 2007.  Centennial alum Andrew George ’10 created this race to honor Sam’s memory and to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer. Laura George, currently a junior, has picked up the helm and led the effort the past two years.

The Centennial Athletic community is urging athletes, fans and families to come out this year to make it the biggest, most successful race to date. Entrance fees are only $25 and you’ll get a long-sleeved t-shirt if you register on-line by January 27.

(Contributions are gladly welcomed, from runners and from people who can’t make it that day. )

Charity Fundraiser: March 2011

Thank you to all of the runners, walkers, sponsors, donors and alumni who participated in the 4th annual fundraiser for the Star House in Roswell.

Chattahoochee High soccer boosters hosted this year’s 5K Walk/Run and the alumni game which followed. Centennial alumni claimed this year’s victory, 3-2, in a hard fought game among some players who go back over 15 years with their rivals at Chattahoochee!

This annual event has become a permanent fixture on the calendars of many soccer families in the area. If you missed this one, plan to come back next March when it is again Centennial’s turn to host!
